jsonmodify.com (“the Site”) provides free, browser-based tools to format, validate, and convert JSON. This policy explains what data the Site does and does not collect. The short version: the JSON you work with never leaves your device.

Your data stays in your browser

All formatting, validation, and conversion happens locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Any JSON you paste, upload, or load from a URL is processed on your own device and is never transmitted to, stored on, or logged by our servers. When you close or reload the page, that data is gone.

Information we collect

We do not require an account, and we do not ask for or collect personal information such as your name, email address, or the contents of your JSON. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that measures aggregate page views and basic, anonymized usage trends without using cookies and without collecting personally identifiable information.

Cookies

The Site does not set tracking cookies of its own, and its analytics run without cookies. Your browser may still store standard technical data required to load and display the page.

Third-party services

The Site is hosted on Vercel, which may process limited technical request data (such as IP address and user-agent) for security, delivery, and aggregate analytics, as described in Vercel’s own privacy policy. If you use the “import from URL” feature, that request goes directly from your browser to the third-party server you specify and is subject to that server’s policies.

Children’s privacy

The Site is a general-purpose developer utility, is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
